A Temető domb, Kápolna domb, legújabban Szent Erzsébet park - mindegyik nevén egy kedves romantikus sétahelyet értenek sokan, kötődik hozzá érzelmi szállal számtalan ember.
temetődomb egykor a vízről - a kabánokkal
Ahogy a löszrétegek rárakodtak egymásra, a bazalttufa dombot körülölelte, a történelmi korok embere is úgy hagyja nyomát rajta. Az ókor népei a pattintott nyílhegyet, később a csiszolt kőbaltát hagyták hátra e domb nyugati lejtőin. A réz- és bronzkor temetőinek urnába zárt hamvait a mellékleteivel, az összehajtott bronz kardokkal a déli oldalon találták meg - Gaal Gaston gyűjteményében maradtak fenn. A rómaiak a domb legmagasabb pontjára - mely a tengerszint felett 168 méter - őrtornyot építettek. A honfoglalók díszes öv veretét és lószerszám veretét 1936-ban Szabó Ferenc községi jegyző kertjében gyümölcsfa ültetés során találták meg a keleti oldalon.
